SPS Heavy duty THICKENERS are available for concentration of solids from underflow of primary or secondary clarifiers,

for sludge blending and for lime softening applications.

- Truss arms are equipped with pickets to stir and agitate sludge for solids suspension in sludge blenders.

Available in sizes 0 - 160 ft diameter.

SPS offers complete heavy duty thickeners with prefabricated tank shells for thickeners with concrete bottom or standing above ground thickeners with tanks having conical bottom and supported on legs.

SPS drive units have high torque capacity with overload control protection

- Rake lift can be provided for extra protection in high rate heavy sludge thickeners

- Control panels are furnished for automatic lifting and alarm/cut-out warning
